Cross Creek Community
Cross Creek offers a variety of small and charming neighborhoods in the heart of New Tampa, some of which are gated. While most of the homes are available in the $200s and $300s, there are also some lovely homes available in the $500,000 range. It is possible to find lakefront homes in some of the Cross Creek neighborhoods, as well as a few custom homes.
Many of the individual neighborhoods in Cross Creek include recreation activities, such as tennis and basketball courts and small parks and playgrounds. There is also a 20-acre community park and a little league baseball field located in the Cross Creek area.
Cross Creek neighborhoods include Creekside, Creekwood, Magnolia Trace, Meadow Woods, Meadow Creek, Misty Creek and Pinehurst. Creekwood, especially, is one of the gems in Cross Creek. It is a gated community with beautiful landscaping. Additionally, Cross Creek features a condo conversion – The Villas at Cross Creek – that offers attached garages and its own clubhouse with swimming pool.
Location
Pride Elementary School and Benito Middle School are both within walking distance of Cross Creek, and Wharton High School is only a short drive – or bus ride – away. Misty Creek is right across the street from Hunter's Green Elementary, which has received an “A” rating. Activities near Cross Creek include Adventure Island and Busch Gardens (within 10 minutes), Lowery Park Zoo and the Florida Aquarium (within 20 minutes) and Gulf beaches and Orlando (within an hour). Flatwoods Wilderness Park, with its numerous outdoor opportunities, is also located nearby. New Tampa and downtown Tampa activities including dining, entertainment and shopping, are also easily accessible.
